- Are you creating wealth for others and not for yourselves?
- Are you working and striving to assist the economically-disadvantaged sectors of society by establishing social enterprises?
- Do you exist not just for profits but also for social goals?
- Do you exist for a community of worker-owners that collaborate and cooperate rather than compete with each other?
- Do you have the motivation to attain prosperity and with commitment to equity?
- Do you immerse yourself in the organization and mobilization of a community, the inculcation of values, the building of alliances and development of constituencies? (the social enterprise is not just an enterprise creator)
- Do you have a forum for self help and a mechanism for attaining dignity?
- Do you endeavor to uplift the quality of life of the members of your enterprise, including their families?
- Do you continuously develop new programs in response to the changing needs of your clientele?
- Do you share your expertise, resources and technologies and collaborate with others in order to maximise the impact to the community?
