SAIDI School of ODs Open Learning in the field of Organization Development

This is the only institution in the country with a graduate program that allows individuals to work towards a degree with minimal disruption in their professional lives.

CARD-MRI

- is a group of mutually reinforcing institutions (MRI) that is committed to provide continued access to integrated microfinance and social development services. All for this noble reason: Organize and empower women and their families. These mutually reinforcing institutions include: CARD-NGO, CARD Bank, CARD Mutual Benefits Association and CARD-MRI Development Institute.

Southern New Hampshire University

- is an internationally recognized leader in education, public policy and research and institution-building in the field of Community Economic Development since 1982. SNHU is the first institution in the US to confer graduate degrees in Community Economic Development (CED). The School of CED provides education and training to CED practitioners, community leaders, and policy makers to equip them with the knowledge, skills and the economic and social well-being of their communities.

These three institutions have come together as partners in delivering the program, MA in OD Specializing in Microfinance Management. SAIDI School of OD is the degree granting institutions: CARD-MRI and SAIDI provide their best practitioners-consultants as mentors in Microfinance Management. This partnership melds the best of the pioneering institutions committed to have the greatest impact in improving the socio-economic well-being especially of those at the bottom of the pyramid.

The Program Arrangements

Phase I allows the learner to be in the care of Microfinance practitioners. There will be structured sessions; and; there will be site visits.

Phase I staff will be from CARD-MRI and SNHU.

Phase II elevates the learner to view this academic journey to an MA degree as well as a way to integrate ones profession and empower their clients.

Phase II staff will be from SAIDI School of OD.

The Research (Thesis) work establishes the stage at which the learners current and potential expertise in microfinance engagement is honed both theoretically and in practice.
