Press Release CEO Appointment May 2008

The board of MAF International is delighted to announce the appointment of Ron Pritz as the new CEO/President of MAF International with effect from 1 September 2008. This follows a thorough and extensive search process over recent months.
Ron currently serves as OC International's Vice President for Field Ministries. In this new role, Ron will oversee the worldwide field operations of MAF. He and his wife Mikel Ann served together with MAF in Indonesia for ten years from 1976-1986. He was elected to the MAF US Board in 2000. Ron has a Master's degree in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Planning. Ron and Mikel Ann have two married sons and four grandchildren. They will be based initially in Ashford, United Kingdom.
Ro said, "My wife, Mikel Ann, and I are awed by the tapestry that God is weaving in our lives. At the age of eight He moved my heart towards MAF through the death of Nate Saint and the other Ecuador martyrs in 1956. In 1976, we joined MAF-US as a pilot/mechanic (engineer) family serving in Irian Java (now Papua), Indonesia. In 1986, after completing a theology degree on two furloughs, He led us to join OC International and our ministry with them has greatly expanded our understanding of the missions world. In 2000 the Lorf brought us back into MAF family when I was asked to serve on the MAF-US Board of Directors. Now, coming full circle , the Lord seems to be puttingthe finishing touches on the tapestry of our lives by bringing us back into service in MAF."
"We are delighted that Ron has agreed to take on the role of MAF International's CEO/President at an exciting and challenging time in the history of MAF. We believe that Ron's understanding and experience in missions, aviation and leadership will strenghten our organization as we seek to enable the transformation of the lives of many isolated people around the world', said Russell Stebbins, Chairman of the MAF International board.
Mission Aviation Fellowship's mission is to share God's love through aviation and technology so that isolated people are spiritually and physically transformed in Christ's name. Founded in 1945, MAF staff currently serve in 51 countries.
